ABOUT SUSAN Hello, and Welcome to my website! My name is Susan Palmer and I live in the mystical, magical splendor of the Red Rocks of Sedona, Arizona. I was born in Chicago, IL and raised in a number of cities throughout the Great Lakes area of the Midwestern United States. I attended Beloit College in Wisconsin, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with a double major in Anthroplogy and Philosophy/Religious Studies. After working at a job that enabled me to live and travel throughout the USA and other parts of the world, I returned to graduate school and received my Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology in 1986. In 1998 I was ordained as a Christian minister in the Unity Church of Tampa, FL. My entire adult life has been dedicated to the "helping professions", assisting people with their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. My life has also been dedicated to my own "journey into wholeness", as I strive for self-realization, to become the "best" human being that I can possibly be, and for a fuller awareness and expression through my own life of the Love of God/Spirit. The journey for me has not been "easy", but it has been rich and rewarding. I have faced the trials and tribulations, as well as the joys, of human experience. I have also come close to death on more than one occasion during the course of in my life. My most recent near death experience occurred in 1997, when my home in Sedona, AZ burned to the ground in the middle of the night WITH ME IN IT! I was "miraculously" awakened from a deep sleep in the wee hours of the morning one winter night with flames burning all around me, by a vision of the Avatar, Sathya Sai Baba, who lives in India. A "voice" inside my head said "Run NOW!" and then a "force" literally hurled me through the flames and out into my yard. There I collapsed into unconsciousness and lay burned in my pajamas. When the paramedics arrived, they transported me to the emergency room of the nearest hospital. The doctors there could not bring me back to consciousness and feared my imminent death, due to the extremely high levels of carbon monoxide in my blood. So they had me air evac'd by helicopter to a hospital in Phoenix, AZ. While my body lay unconscious and on the verge of death, I was experiencing the wonders of an "altered state" of mind with incredible "visions", while wrapped in the what I can only describe as the Loving Embrace of God and the Angelic Realm! I survived the fire, but then I had to deal with the "reality" of being suddenly "homeless"! No house, no car, no job...as I worked out of my home office. I owed thousands of dollars in medical bills, but had no health insurance to cover the medical expenses. And then came the creditors, nasty calls from collection agencies, and the looming prospect of bankruptcy. But I survived, life continued, and I recovered. And within two months after I moved into my "new" house, on the same site as the home that had been totally destroyed by the fire, Sai Baba again "materialized" in my house, during a spiritual study group meeting, this time in full view of the 18 people that were present that evening! Since that time, one of the "miracles of Sai Baba," the "holy ash" that he materializes at will out of thin air to cure illnesses and as a spiritual blessing, has also "materialized" on photos in my home. The experience that I just shared with you is only one of many remarkable, sudden, and unexpected twists and turns that my life has taken. I have shared it with you by way of demonstration, for those of you who may consider using my services as a healer or spiritual counselor, that I HAVE LIVED MY TRUTH AND HEALED MYSELF on more than one occasion! I, too, have struggled with issues such as is God real, what is the purpose of my life, loss and grief, relationship difficulties, financial challenges, people's skepticism about what I do for a living, and also serious physical health challenges. So when I tell you that I am an "experienced" Healer, Counselor, and Spirit Communicator, I MEAN IT! What I do and suggest for my clients, I have lived, applied to my own life, and have reaped the benefits thereof. I KNOW beyond any shadow of a doubt, as a result of my own life experiences, that my gift of healing does work, that the realm of  Spirit and the Angels is "real", and that God IS LOVE! My own "Journey Into Wholeness" has shown me this. I have moved beyond "belief" or "faith" into actual "knowing," based upon first hand personal experience. Thankfully, I have also moved beyond what other people may think of me and my work. I have no need to "prove myself" to anyone I AM the "living proof" of my work. And if I can assist you in any way with your own personal journey to health and happiness, to a greater awareness and understanding of yourself, God and Spirit it would be my great joy and honor to do so.
